Understanding the Changes

After you have your baby, chances are you may look and in some cases, even feel as though you are still carrying your baby around with you, this is because your body needs time to recover. It is normal for the stomach to retain its pregnancy shape for several months after you give birth. In the best of situations it usually takes about four weeks just for the uterus to get back to its normal size.
